Reports overview

Money is where the day gets reconciled. It holds four screens — Reports, Order voids, Payments & Accounts and, for German restaurants, Compliance — plus the day report and the register-session history that open from inside Reports.

The Reports screen describes its own job: “Review payment activity, reconcile each business day, and follow each transaction back to its order.”

Plans
Brasserie, Signature, Enterprise
Can it be switched off?
No. It is part of every plan that includes it and cannot be switched off.
Question Where to look
What did we take today, and by which method? Transaction report
Does the cash in the drawer match the sales? Day report and close
Who opened which till, and what came out of it? Drawer shifts, floats and safe drops
Who is removing items from bills, and how often? Order voids report
Why has a card payment not arrived? Payments and accounts
What does my accountant need? Accounting integrations
What does the German tax office need? Fiscal and TSE (Germany)

Visibility is two gates in series: your plan has to include the feature, and your role has to hold the permission.

  • Reports needs tenant.dashboard.view. Owners, managers, cashiers and accountants have it.
  • The day report needs tenant.reports.financial or tenant.register.day_close. Closing the day needs tenant.register.day_close specifically.
  • The voids report needs tenant.dashboard.view and the Operational audit reports feature.
  • Payments & Accounts needs tenant.connect.manage or tenant.settings.manage.

The full picture, including the parts of cash handling that the owner is deliberately shut out of, is on Who can do what with cash.

Every report is read in the restaurant’s own timezone, and the transaction report says so under the filters: Times shown in followed by that timezone. A “business day” is not midnight-to-midnight everywhere — set the timezone correctly under Setup → Localisation before you reconcile anything, or a late shift will land on the wrong day.
