Tables or reservations missing at a branch
Tables, dining rooms, reservations and the waitlist are per branch, and they all depend on dine-in. That one dependency explains nearly every case of “it works at the other site”.
Check the selected branch first
Section titled “Check the selected branch first”The header shows which branch you are working in. Most data follows that selection, so looking at the wrong branch shows you the wrong answer. Staff assigned to a branch only see orders and tables for that branch — owners and managers can hold All Locations.
Check what the branch offers
Section titled “Check what the branch offers”Setup → Locations → What this branch offers has the four floor switches, and the dependency is enforced in both directions:
- Turning tables or dining rooms on turns dine-in on.
- Turning dine-in off clears tables, dining rooms and the waitlist.
So a café branch where somebody switched dine-in off has no Tables screen at all, however many tables are configured. Turn dine-in back on and the floor switches become available again. See Locations and branch offerings.
Then check the restaurant-wide switch
Section titled “Then check the restaurant-wide switch”Branch offerings only narrow what the plan and the restaurant already allow. If reservations are off under Setup → Features, no branch has them. See Turn features on and off.
And the plan
Section titled “And the plan”Table sessions, split checks and seat tracking are plan features that also ship switched off, so a brand-new account has them in the plan and not on the screen. The floor plan itself needs the tables feature — see What each plan includes.
