Upgrade or downgrade
You change plan from Setup → Subscriptions, with the same manage billing permission that subscribing needs.
What you are charged
Section titled “What you are charged”| Direction | What happens |
|---|---|
| Upgrading to a more expensive plan | You are invoiced for the difference straight away, for the rest of the current period. |
| Downgrading to a cheaper plan | The credit for the unused part is applied against your next renewal, not refunded to your card. |
What happens to your features
Section titled “What happens to your features”Immediately, in both directions. Your entitlements are recalculated the moment the change goes through, so an upgrade unlocks screens without a sign-out and a downgrade removes them the same way.
Your data is not deleted when a feature goes away. It becomes unreachable until the plan carries the feature again.
Switching the billing interval
Section titled “Switching the billing interval”Changing between monthly and yearly is handled as a plan change on the same screen. Monthly is what the plans are currently priced on; if the dashboard says yearly billing is unavailable for your plan, ask us rather than assuming it is a fault.
