"Your trial has expired" and other account states
The dashboard can refuse access for the restaurant as a whole rather than for you personally. There are a handful of states, each with its own message and its own way out.
| Message | State | What still works |
|---|---|---|
| Complete your onboarding to unlock the dashboard. | Setting up | The onboarding wizard |
| Your trial has expired. Subscribe to a plan to re-activate your account. | Suspended | Billing, sign-in |
| This account has been disabled. Please contact support. | Disabled | Nothing — contact us |
| This restaurant account is not active. Please contact support. | Other | Nothing — contact us |
Two states are not restricted at all, which surprises people:
- In trial — full access, exactly like a paid account.
- Payment past due — full access during the grace period, with a payment banner. Nothing is switched off the moment a card fails. See When payment fails.
Complete your onboarding
Section titled “Complete your onboarding”Finish the wizard — see The onboarding wizard. Billing and sign-in stay reachable throughout, so you can subscribe before you have finished setting up if you want to.
Your trial has expired
Section titled “Your trial has expired”Subscribing re-activates the account; your data was not touched while it was suspended. See Subscribe.
The account has been disabled
Section titled “The account has been disabled”This is not an expiry and subscribing will not clear it. Contact support.
