Business hours

Setup → Business Hours sets opening hours, order availability, and what this branch offers, and it works on the branch selected in your header — not on your restaurant as a whole.

That is the single most important thing about this screen. If you have more than one branch, check the header before you save.

Hours are per branch

The screen says it twice, because people miss it:

Saving updates this location only. Use Apply to all locations to copy the same hours to every branch.

So the workflow for a group is: set the first branch, press Apply to all locations, then adjust the ones that differ. The page confirms with Business hours applied to all locations.

To switch branches, use the header switcher — the page follows your active location.

Regular hours

One row per day, Monday to Sunday, each either open with a start and end time, or closed all day.

For a venue trading past midnight, use 00:00 as the end time — so an 11:00 to 00:00 row is an overnight shift ending at midnight, not a zero-length day.

Special hours

Separate hours for specific services, on top of the regular day. The categories are breakfast, brunch, buffet, lunch, dinner, delivery, pickup, bar and other.

This is how you say “the kitchen closes at 21:00 but the bar runs to 01:00”, or “delivery only runs 17:00–22:00”, without touching your opening hours.

Holidays and one-off closures

Specific closed dates takes a date and an optional reason — Christmas, New Year, a renovation day. A closed date beats the regular schedule for that day.

Operating controls: the manual override

Three modes decide whether you are taking orders right now:

Mode	Behaviour
Follow Hours	Opens and closes automatically on the schedule. The normal setting.
Open Now	Accept orders right now, even outside normal hours.
Closed Now	Pause all orders temporarily, regardless of schedule.

Closed Now is the kill switch for a kitchen that has gone down, a delivery driver who has not turned up, or a function that has taken the whole floor. It stays in force until you change it back — the dashboard is explicit: No orders will be accepted until you re-enable.

Leaving a branch on Open Now or Closed Now by accident is the most common cause of “we’re not getting online orders” and of “we’re getting orders at 3am”. Check this screen first.
