Custom pages
Custom pages is a small content editor for the pages a restaurant website needs beyond the menu: Lean CMS pages for About, Catering, and similar content.
- Plans
- Brasserie, Signature, Enterprise
- Can it be switched off?
- Yes — an owner or manager can turn it off under Setup → Features.
A page is a stack of blocks
Section titled “A page is a stack of blocks”You add blocks and fill them in:
| Block | Holds |
|---|---|
| Hero | Headline, subcopy, image |
| Rich text | HTML content |
| Image | Image URL, alt text, caption |
| Video | An mp4, YouTube or Vimeo URL, with a poster image |
| CTA | A label and a destination |
| Gallery | One image URL per line |
Always fill in alt text on an image. It is what a screen reader reads out and what shows when the image fails to load, and it is the one field people skip.
Page settings
Section titled “Page settings”| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Title | The page heading. |
| Slug | The URL segment. Pages are published under /p/ — a slug of catering becomes /p/catering. |
| Status | Draft or Published. A draft is not public. |
| Sort order | Position among your custom pages. |
| Show in storefront navigation | Whether it appears in the menu. Off by default, so a page can be published and linked to without cluttering the nav. |
| SEO | SEO title, SEO description, OG image URL. |
What belongs here and what does not
Section titled “What belongs here and what does not”This editor is deliberately plain. The description says so: Stylish motion belongs in AI custom storefronts. If you want an animated, bespoke marketing site, that is a different piece of work. Use this for the pages guests actually look for — opening story, catering enquiries, allergen notes, parking.
