Legal pages
Your storefront needs legal pages, and RestroManage provisions them for you rather than leaving you a blank editor. Edit the content for your storefront’s legal pages. Published pages are linked in the storefront footer.

They are chosen by your country
Section titled “They are chosen by your country”The templates you get depend on the jurisdiction your country falls into, taken from Localisation:
| Your country | Jurisdiction | Languages provisioned |
|---|---|---|
| Australia | Australian | English |
| An EU/EEA country | GDPR | English and German |
| Anywhere else | Global | English |
A GDPR-jurisdiction account therefore starts with six pages, not three — English and German versions of each. The editor has a language selector for switching between them.
Imprint needs your details
Section titled “Imprint needs your details”The Imprint page is assembled from your business and contact details, so fill in Business profile and your location’s address before expecting it to read properly.
The editor also prompts you to add a public email to your primary location so customers have a direct address for privacy requests — and states plainly that private owner details are never published. The public address is the one guests see; it is not your personal inbox unless you make it so.
Platform disclosure
Section titled “Platform disclosure”Part of each page is a platform disclosure — the paragraph saying that RestroManage processes data on your behalf as the platform. It is maintained by us and is not yours to write.
Editing, and the price of editing
Section titled “Editing, and the price of editing”You can rewrite any page. The moment you do, that page is marked customised, and we stop updating it.
That is the trade, and it matters. Untouched pages are upgraded automatically when we publish a newer template — a law changes, a clause is improved, your pages follow. A page you have edited keeps your words, and you maintain it from then on.
When a newer template exists for a page you have customised, the editor says so: a notice names how many customised pages have a newer master template available, and confirms your content has not been overwritten. Acting on it is up to you — the usual approach is to read the new template, see what changed, and fold that into your version.
If you want a page back on automatic updates, replace your content with the template’s content again.
Publishing
Section titled “Publishing”A published legal page is linked in the storefront footer. Use Preview to read it as a guest will before publishing.
