The go-live checklist
The checklist is live: it reads your actual settings each time you open it, so a step ticks itself the moment the underlying thing is true. You never mark a step done by hand.
Reading the markers
Section titled “Reading the markers”| Marker | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Tick | Done. Nothing else needed. |
| Hourglass, In review | Submitted and being checked. Only the verification step uses this. |
| Cross, Needs changes | Something was rejected. Open the step, correct it and resubmit. |
| Outlined, highlighted | The step you are on. |
| Optional badge | Not required to go live. |
A counter at the bottom shows how many steps are done out of the total.
Common reasons a step will not tick
Section titled “Common reasons a step will not tick”Confirm your venue stays half-done. You have an address but no usable opening hours, or hours but no address. Hours count as usable once the week has at least one open period that the storefront can act on; a week of closed days does not count.
Add your menu stays open. The item exists but is not in a state that can be ordered — check it has a price and is available. One orderable item is the whole bar.
Choose how you take payment stays open. You have looked at the options but not saved a choice. Saving cash only completes the step.
Verify your business sits in In review. Nothing is wrong. The check is with the payment provider and completes on its own; you do not need to resubmit.
You can keep working while it is open
Section titled “You can keep working while it is open”The checklist is not a gate on setup work. While it is open you can still build the menu, add staff and roles, set printers, pricing rules, locations and your legal details. What waits for completion is day-to-day trading.
