Choose a theme
A theme is the design of your storefront: its layout, typography, colour defaults and the sections it offers. Switching theme changes how your menu looks, never what is on it.
Switching
Section titled “Switching”The theme is chosen under Appearance. New accounts start on SwiftBite.
Switching is not destructive — your menu, orders and customers are untouched. But each theme has its own sections and settings, so customisations you made to one theme are not carried across. Expect to spend a few minutes in the customiser after a switch.
The themes that ship
Section titled “The themes that ship”| Theme | Character | Status |
|---|---|---|
| SwiftBite | Modern, fast-food inspired | Stable |
| Forno | Wood-fired Italian pizzeria | Stable |
| Masala | Indian and Pakistani restaurant | Stable |
| Saffron Bazaar | Warm, market-inspired, jade and saffron accents | Stable |
| Aurora | Flexible and fully token-driven — recolour every section, button and font | Beta |
| Bolani | Fully light, split-layout restaurant theme | Beta |
| Cascara | Warm café theme, cream canvas, green CTAs, EN/DE language switcher | Beta |
Stable means it is in production use and we do not expect to change it under you. Beta means it works and is being refined — sections and settings may still move. If you want the most control over colours and fonts, Aurora is the one built for it; if you want the most settled option, choose a stable theme.
The list in your dashboard is the authority. A theme can be withdrawn or added without this page changing.
Choosing one
Section titled “Choosing one”The honest advice is to pick by layout, not by cuisine. The names describe what each theme was designed around, but nothing stops a café using Forno. What matters is whether your menu is a short list or a long one, whether your photography is good, and whether you want a light or a dark page — and then whether you intend to tune it in the customiser.
