Customers
Setup → Customers is your guest directory: Guests who have ordered or been saved to your CRM.
- Plans
- Brasserie, Signature, Enterprise
- Can it be switched off?
- Yes — an owner or manager can turn it off under Setup → Features.
What gets in
Section titled “What gets in”Two routes. Guests who place an order — online, at a table QR, or taken by staff with their details attached — arrive automatically. And you can Add Customer by hand, for a regular, a corporate account or a phone booking.
There is no import. A list from an old system is typed in or arrives through orders.
What a record holds
Section titled “What a record holds”The list shows name, email, phone, order count, total spent, last order, and status (active or inactive). The columns are selectable, and the list is searchable by name, email or phone.
Opening a record adds address, device info, and who created and last updated it, with timestamps.
Total spent and order count are derived from orders, not typed. They are the fields worth looking at before you comp a dish for somebody who claims to be a regular.
What it is not
Section titled “What it is not”It is a directory, not a loyalty programme. There are no points, tiers or automated campaigns. A guest’s history is visible; nothing acts on it by itself.
Marking a customer inactive keeps the record and their order history and takes them out of your working list.
