The Orders screen

Orders is the first entry under Service in the sidebar, and it is the screen most of your team will live in. It lists every order at the branch you are viewing, newest first, whether it came from a table, your storefront, or a POS device.

Orders needs the view orders permission. It is not plan-gated: owners, managers, order takers (shown as Waiter), cashiers and kitchen staff always reach the order list, the order details and the order lifecycle, on every plan. Only the things around orders are plan-priced — POS order entry, payments, voids, printing, day close and audit exports.

That is a deliberate decision in the routing layer, not an accident. A restaurant must never be locked out of its own orders because of a subscription state.

The tabs across the top filter by order type, not by status:

Tab Shows
In-House Dine-in, walk-in and staff-meal orders together
Dine-In Orders attached to a table
Walk-In Counter orders with no table
Pickup Storefront orders the customer collects
Curbside Pickup orders brought out to a vehicle
Delivery Orders you deliver yourself
Aggregator Orders that arrived from a marketplace platform

A tab only appears when that order type is switched on for the branch. If Delivery is missing, the branch does not offer delivery — see Branch offerings.

Separate from the tabs, a status filter narrows the list:

  • All
  • Needs acceptance — online orders waiting on you
  • Pending
  • Completed
  • Cancelled

Needs acceptance is the one to watch during service. See Accept or reject an online order.

  • Search Orders matches by order number, customer name, or phone.
  • Columns lets each person choose which columns they see. The choice is yours, not the restaurant’s — a cashier and a manager can have different layouts.
  • The sidebar shows a live order count badge on Orders so an incoming order is visible from anywhere in the dashboard.

Tap or click a row to open the order. The screen says so itself: “Tap a row for details and to change status.”

Without opening the order, a row gives you Print (kitchen receipt or customer bill), Email (send the receipt, if the customer gave an address), Download PDF, Copy order number, Copy Tracking ID and View Details.

Printing offers two modes — desktop (through the print agent on a PC) and mobile_rawbt (through RawBT on an Android device). Which one you get depends on the device you are on, not on a setting you choose per order.
