Customise your storefront

Customize storefront is a live preview of your site with an editing panel beside it. You click a section in the preview, or pick it from the outline, and its settings appear.

Plans
Brasserie, Signature, Enterprise
Can it be switched off?
Yes — an owner or manager can turn it off under Setup → Features.

Nothing you change is public until you publish.

Button Effect
Save draft Keeps your changes. The live site is unchanged.
Publish Puts the saved draft on the live site.
View live store Opens what guests currently see.

An Unpublished changes marker appears while a draft differs from what is live. That marker is the one thing to check before you walk away — a draft saved and never published is the commonest reason “I changed it and nothing happened”.

Each page is a stack of sections. Per section you can:

  • Turn it off — section visible on storefront — without deleting its content.
  • Edit its content: headlines, images, link lists, item lists.
  • Reorder it in the stack.

A link list takes a label and a destination, and a destination can be an anchor such as #menu, a path such as /about, or a full URL. Clearing a list entirely falls back to the theme’s defaults rather than leaving an empty menu — there is a Use theme defaults control for exactly that.

Some themes expect a fixed number of lines in a list and say so on the field. Leaving a list empty hides it.

The reviews section needs the API key set up first, under Reviews and online presence. Enabling the section without the key gives you an empty section.

Start from a preset applies colours, fonts and corner radius in one go. Your section content stays as-is — a preset is a look, not a layout, and it will not overwrite the text you have written.

Separate from per-section settings, theme settings are site-wide: the palette, fonts and radius your theme exposes. How much is exposed depends on the theme — see Choose a theme.

Reset restores every page section to the theme’s default layout and resets all section settings. The dialog is explicit that your current customisations will be lost — and equally explicit that this does not publish anything, so you see a preview first and can still cancel.

That is worth knowing in both directions: a reset you cancel costs nothing, and a reset you publish cannot be undone by pressing reset again.

The menu itself, prices, and which order types appear at checkout. Those are Catalog and Delivery. The customiser styles the site; it does not configure the ordering.
