Signing up takes one form. You do not need a card, and you do not need to talk to anyone first.

What you are asked for

Field	Notes
Business name	The name of the venue. You can change it later under Setup.
Web address	The first part of your dashboard address — see below.
Your name	The person who will own the account.
Your email	Where your sign-in details and billing emails go.
Password	At least 8 characters, typed twice.

You also tick to accept the terms and privacy policy. That acceptance is recorded with the version you agreed to.

Your web address

You choose one word or phrase, and your dashboard lives at your-choice.restromanage.app.

It may contain lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, and it must start and end with a letter or a number. kebab-house and cafe42 are fine; -kebab, Kebab_House and kebab- are not. If someone has already taken it, you are told straight away and can pick another.

Note

This is not the address customers see. Your public ordering page is set up separately and can use your own domain — see What the storefront is.

What happens immediately

1. Your restaurant is created and your trial starts. You land on the Brasserie plan for the length of the trial, so most of the product is unlocked while you set up.
2. Your account is in setup state. You can build your menu, add staff, set your hours and configure printers right away. The operational screens open up once you finish the go-live steps.
3. A welcome email goes to the address you gave.
