The dashboard on the device
Dashboard is the device’s home screen. It answers “what is happening right now” without opening anything else, and it is read-only apart from two row shortcuts.
Today’s Overview
Section titled “Today’s Overview”Four stat cards across the top:
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Today’s Sales | Money taken today at this location |
| Tables | Tables currently in use |
| Active Orders | Orders that are not yet completed |
| Pending Reservations | Bookings still waiting to be confirmed |
These follow the location picked in the header. Switching location reloads them.
Live Order Feed
Section titled “Live Order Feed”A rolling list of the orders that are still moving, with three columns — Order, Table / Source and Status. When there is nothing running you get the quiet state rather than an empty table:
All quiet for now — No active orders — enjoy the breather.
Each row carries two shortcuts, and they are the reason to work from this screen rather than the Orders list:
- Kitchen — reprints that order’s kitchen ticket.
- Guest check — prints the bill for the table.
View All opens the full Orders screen.
Low Stock Alerts
Section titled “Low Stock Alerts”Items that have fallen to or below their Min Stock Level. When nothing has:
All items are well stocked
Stock levels and minimums are set per item — see The menu on the device. An item left with a blank stock figure has unlimited stock and never appears here.
It can be hidden on phones
Section titled “It can be hidden on phones”On a small screen the dashboard is the first thing to be dropped, because a phone’s bottom bar holds only five destinations. A waiter handset normally starts on Tables instead. That is a device setting, not a fault — see Device modes: Solo, Hub and Waiter.
